The Annual Giving Manager is responsible for the cultivation, solicitation, and acquisition of
gifts to the annual fund of up to $5,000. Incumbent ensures individual giving strategies are
implemented throughout the year and coordinates related events. Duties include preparing
correspondence to donors and members, oversight of the annual fund appeals process and
goals, and donor stewardship. Assist with major gift proposals and briefings.
Manage annual fund campaigns— prepare correspondence, manage mailings, work
with telemarketing service, monitor appeal process and upgrade strategy.
Draft correspondence for annual fund and prepare for mailing
Utilize Autry website for Annual Fund updates and reminders
Manage donor recognition projects: donor wall (lobby) and donor tiles (plaza).
Research prospects and prepare briefings
Transmit information to Development Services regarding prospects and other
individuals for the prospect management database; maintain and update information
in database as needed
Research and implement telemarketing firms
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required to work key signature Autry events: Masters and Gala
Requires excellent organizational, verbal and written skills and the ability to multi task. Must be
proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint. Database experience, specifically with
Raiser’s Edge, a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required; 2-4 related experience
Requires use of computer, physical mobility and stamina. Extended work hours as needed.
