Director of Development for Creative Partners in Strategic Development

Creative Partners in Strategic Development is a newly established formal partnership of Blair Thomas & Company, eighth blackbird Performing Arts Association, and Lucky Plush Productions. This partnership is aimed at strengthening and increasing financial resources for all three organizations to more effectively foster long term artistic growth and innovation, while broadening, diversifying and deepening audiences.

The partnership has received significant multi-year support from the MacArthur Foundation to launch its efforts. It is currently hiring a development team – a full time Director of Development and a full time Development Associate to work with the three companies to build long term organizational and financial sustainability though increasing contributed income. The Director of Development will provide strategic oversight and ownership for the creation, validation and implementation of individual organizational work plans, will research and cultivate individual prospects, and will facilitate partnership activities. The Development Associate will maintain databases, handle day-to-day administrative duties, and support both the Director of Development and the three organizations in fulfilling goals and objectives of all development work plans.
