I am a grant writer for College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita. In this position, I identify sources of external funding for the college and craft proposals soliciting funding, primarily to support the programs of the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons. Through a unique partnership with the City of Santa Claria, a portion of my time is dedicated to grant writing for nonprofit arts organizations throughout the community. I have successfully secured funding from the California Arts Council, the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, James Irvine Foundation, Medtronic Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.

My previous employers include Crystal Stairs Child Development Corporation, Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Girl Scout Council, California State University Dominguez Hills, and Glendale Community College. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing from USC.
