Is Sustainability Sustainable? An interactive discussion with Laura Zucker
1:08 pm in Events, Professional Development by Krystal Boehlert
As you may already know, the Emerging Leaders Council (ELC) will be hosting its winter meeting in LA and would like to invite all EAL members to participate in an interactive session with Laura Zucker. This will take place prior to the next EAL/ELC mixer at 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 12 at the LA County Arts Commission, 1055 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 800, Los Angeles, CA 90017. Metered parking is available on the street and there are two lots adjacent to the building that offer $6 parking.
Laura Zucker, Executive Director of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission and Director of the Masters in Arts Management Program at Claremont Graduate University will lead a discussion on sustainability, both for the arts organizations we’re all a part of, and for ourselves.
WolfBrown posits that sustainability is based on community relevance, artistic vibrancy and capitalization. Do we agree? In preparation, please download and read: http://wolfbrown.com/images/soundingboard/WB_SoundingBoardv30_1114_d.pdf
This event is free to attend but please reserve a ticket here: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/2733960349 so we know how many people to expect.
…Psst…Please join un directly following this conversation for some mixing and mingling downtown with Americans for The Arts National Emerging Leaders Council!
