Curate your personal brand — Creative Conversations April 2014
According to Forbes Magazine, personal branding is “essential for the advancement of your career and development as a leader.” But what exactly is personal branding? Most of us understand what a brand is and how a brand’s product, messages and culture can influence its success in the market. Coca Cola, Nike and The Red Cross are great examples of how strong branding differentiates one product from another. So, why would branding be relevant for an individual and what does it have to do with a successful career?
Samantha Bennett — actor, writer and creativity/productivity specialist — answers these questions and more at Creative Conversations: Curate Your Career on April 12 at the NoHo Arts Center. Her workshop, Personal Branding and Networking, will teach emerging leaders how to create a personal brand that resonates with others and ultimately leads to career success. She will also share tips on the importance of networking and utilizing your network to reach your career goals.
Samantha Bennett is the founder of The Organized Artist Company, dedicated to helping creative people get “unstuck” by helping them focus and move forward on their goals. Originally from Chicago, she is also a teacher who counsels thousands of artists and entrepreneurs on their way to success.
