DRC INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The Dance Resource Center (DRC) is looking for a Horton Awards Production Intern to aid in the outreach and coordination of activities related to the Lester Horton Dance Awards. This is a part-time (5-10 hrs/wk), unpaid position, providing an excellent opportunity to learn about event coordination and increase professional involvement with the L.A. dance community.

Responsibilities include:
– Act as a liaison between the DRC staff, Hortons Viewing Committee Members, and local dance artists and community members.
– Coordinate monthly Hortons Steering Committee meetings and additional sub-committee meetings as needed.
– Ensure all Hortons Viewing requests are received and processed.

Preferred skills:
Applicants must be highly organized, detail-oriented, sensitive with confidential information, and have excellent customer service skills.
